Secondary Joint Replacement Surgery
Dr. Rajeev Jain is an expert in secondary joint replacement surgery. These are very difficult procedures since he must work with already installed implants. Kish Hospital offers secondary implant services, though not all facilities offer these procedures. Dr. Jain is also using a new custom-made hip or knee implant on patients.
The patient has an MRI of the hip or knee and a custom made orthotic is made specifically to fit the person based on the person's anatomy. This can cut down time in surgery and is specifically helpful in people with deformities or previous injuries.
