Kish hospital welcomes Its first baby of the year

Baby Joshua G. Hernandez Fonseca made history Sunday as the first baby born at Kishwaukee Community Hospital in 2012. He was born at 12:54 p.m., weighing six pounds and measuring 18 ½ inches long.
The baby’s parents, Rosa Fonseca and Gerardo Hernandez Perez of Rochelle, said they were excited that their baby was the first born at the hospital this year. His brother Jonathon, one and a half, also welcomes Baby Joshua.
Joshua’s family received a special New Year’s baby basket with gift items and certificates donated by the Kish Hospital Auxiliary and several area businesses, including, Dolce Vita Salon & Spa, Glidden Florist, National Bank & Trust, Noodles & Company, Studio One Salon & Spa, and Wal-Mart.
