You will have peace of mind knowing that your infant is safe at Kishwaukee Community Hospital. In addition to your baby rooming in with you, he or she will have a computerized tag for identification and location purposes. Our unit locks down and has alarmed doors, video surveillance, and a hospital-wide trained staff.

We make sure every baby goes home in a safe and properly installed car seat. Resources are available through DeKalb County Safe Kids to instruct parents on child passenger safety and to help parents in financial need acquire a car seat.
